About Catherine

Catherine began her own firm after practicing law in Fort Worth and Dallas for 27 years.  Catherine concentrates her practice in estate planning, probate and guardianship matters and related litigation. She represents clients in both independent and dependent probate administrations, including contested and uncontested matters.  She also handles both contested and uncontested guardianship matters. Catherine’s practice also consists of fiduciary, probate, and trust litigation matters.

 

Catherine is Past President of the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, and is finishing a four-year term as Chair of the Guardianship Committee of the Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.  She is a frequent speaker at numerous continuing education courses for the State Bar of Texas, having served as course director, as well as speaking for local bar and lay associations.

 

She is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

 

Catherine lives in Northeast Tarrant county with her husband of 24 years and their two children where she is involved with their schools and activities.
